Alan Moucha, CFA (Senior Vice President) graduated from the University of South Florida, where he received his BA in Finance in 1978 and MBA in Finance and Economics in 1979. The Charter Financial Analyst designation was earned in 1985. Mr. Moucha borrows on over 25 years of experience in investment research and portfolio management. his expertise is in the area of equity research, equity valuation and portfolio risk control. Prior to joining Jamison, Eaton & Wood in June 2004, he was a Senior Vice President at U.S. Trust Company in Princeton, managing the relationships of high net worth individuals, foundations and retirement plans. Previously, he was First Vice President, Portfolio Manager and member of the Investment Policy Committee for Sturdivant & Company, a leading institutional management firm. There he had direct responsibility for the stock screening and portfolio construction process, and research coverage of the Consumer and Healthcare sectors. Mr. Moucha spent several years at The Investment Counsel Company where he served as Senior Vice President. Utilizing both qualitative and proprietary qualitative methodologies, he managed the firm's concentrated equity product. While at North Carolina National Bank, he was a member of the bank's Value Equity team and was responsible for national institutional clients. |
