Keith H. Wood (Chief Executive Officer) is a graduate of the University of Virginia and served as a Commissioned Officer in the United State Marine Corps. He began his investment career in 1960 with Scudder, Stevens & Clark and served in both research and portfolio management roles. In 1963 he purchased a membership on the New York Stock Exchange and conducted a specialized trading business directly on the floor of the New York Stock Exchange before admission to the partnership of DeCoppet & Doremus (odd lot firm) in 1968. Mr. Wood sold his New York Stock Exchange Seat in 1969 in order to return to the investment management field. He joined Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette to assist in the management of Alliance Capital Management. Mr. Wood managed a profit center in discretionary money management and was a senior officer of Alliance Capital. He left Alliance in mid-1972 to assist in the creation of Jamison, Eaton & Wood, Inc. Mr. Wood also served as President of the firm’s international affiliate, Ivory & Sime International, Inc. from its founding until disposition in 1997. Previous outside business board positions include Vice Chairman of ASA, Ltd. (South Africa), and Director of Ivory & Sime plc (Edinburgh, Scotland). Responsibilities today at Jamison, Eaton & Wood include those of Chairman, Chief Executive. |
