William F. Gadsden, CFA (Vice President) graduated from Trinity College in 1977 with a BA in Philosophy and Psychology. He earned a MBA at Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania in 1981. In 1986, Bill became a Chartered Financial Analyst. His career began at Brown Brothers Harriman in New York City as a portfolio manager, following the completion of his Master’s degree. In 1983, he began a 20-year career with Scudder Stevens & Clark, where he eventually became a managing director in 1991. During the first half of his career there, Bill managed individual, trust, foundation and other investors’ portfolios in Scudder’s Private Investment Counsel Group. Later on, Bill’s energies were refocused to the Global Equity Group where he became the Team Leader for the Core Growth Equity Product, a large-cap domestic equity discipline that he developed. The Core Growth Equity Team managed a variety of institutional portfolios and several mutual funds (including Scudder Capital Growth Fund and AARP Capital Growth Fund). In September 2003, Bill joined Jamison, Eaton and Wood as a Vice President and Portfolio Manager. |
